Time needed to fix a sponser, change their mind and go away from an online gambling house from China to something that kids can carry on their shirts...

I will ask again, are there any other teams having problem with Adidas kit supplies ??

You have answered your own question really mate, the kit supplier have done this kind of business quite a while and tend to know how to deliver things on time at the request of the customer, there is one part of the equation that doesn't have much top level business expertise ...and that aint Adidas im sorry to say <ok>

If you take away the one company that has never had problems in the past that leaves you with one company that always seems to have problems with such things(scfc)

As far as I can research its only us that have had problems and nobody else anywhere in the entire world or indeed anywhere in our solar system....<laugh>

I must also add, what takes months to organise exactly ?? because it certainly isn't the stocking of club merchandise is it !!...<laugh>

Is there some global sales conference that they organised to go along with this big splash then ? I loved the internet teasing of showing us bits of kit for everyday of the week, that was amazing and watered the mouth...the new sponsers name was the last thing to be revealed, I wonder why ...<whistle>

Its most certainly the club at fault on this.(nothing new there then)....they pissed about choosing a sponsor and left it to late to let adidas know so they can get the merchandise ready for the new season. If the club knew who the sponsor was ages ago then they would have said so, there is no reason not to and this shambles would not have happened....adidas obviously were on the ball as they had the shirts made as have been seen without the sponsor's name on them and were waiting for confirmation from the club before printing....IF the club knew weeks ago then they forgot to tell adidas.....So therefore its all down to the club......Why is anyone surprised by this...<laugh>

Am I missing something here. The away shirts are available and on sale now complete with the sponsors name aren't they, or have I misread the news about the stock?

So no Addidas **** ups with football kits then Jager ??

The only one you could find was a late delivery for rugby shirts 4,5 yrs ago !! jeez....<laugh>

I think that re enforces the professionalism of Addidas more than it does the Swans don't you think ?

One late delivery in 4 yrs for the biggest kit supplier out there but when they get together with our commercial department they are suddenly **** ..<laugh>

I think that says it all <ok>

Anyway, intresting debate none the less, the views of Swansalona and Jager have been intresting and well thought out,im off to Nog tomorrow so speak then <cheers>

No you're not, the away shirts are on sale, the home shirts being unavailable are down to Adidas. Take no notice of what the resident scouser says.

You asked me I supplied, do you think I haven't got better things to do than trawl the Internet for this ? That was a hit on the first page of a google search!

And I don't know what year it is in Norway , but here is its 2013 and that was in 2011 so less than 2 years ago. Not 4 or 5 years like you state!

Also lets not forget we had problems last year with the lead time of orders and that was about 6 months, so even if we wanted new kit for last season it's practically impossible to get them!

Adidas supplies a huge number of sports their kit, so you didn't ask about football specifically you just said teams, and the stuff supplied to a rugby team would be very similar to football so its relevant.

The point is though, as a supplier they have left a customer down, they had an obligation to provide kit that was up to standard, for whatever reason that wasn't done on the home kit, but was on the away kit, so if it was the club at fault none of the order would have been done. Or do you have explanation for that ?

And how do you know the club were at fault then Dai ? If Adidas got the away kit down pat, how didn't they for the home kit? If the club were at fault they wouldn't have got any of it right!

And if Adidas were on the ball as you put it, why did they release a statement that basically said it was their fault ?

And like other situations with you Dai, where are your facts? Where is the proof that what you are saying is based on those facts ?
