And yeah, I'd be up for continuing this next year/involve the World Cup. I could always do some kind of prediction league/World Cup bets with our friends from Brizzle and Wycombe if they want.

I'd normally like all the predictions in before 3pm tomorrow but just to cater for the ones who've not had a chance to make their calculations yet....let's see the result of our first match of the new era and then all come rushing in with our wishes and hopes.

There can be an exchange for your success in the betting league! If there isn't any likelihood of you getting to a game by early September I might require you to PM an address so that I can arrange for delivery!

Well, well, well......Lenny wins for a second season......I'll need to contact him for prize distribution!! We were all good again (barring one!).
Apologies to all for no updates.....I've moved south and 'retired' so less time to spare AND less matches to watch next season......certainly not the trip to Wigan!!!
Well done Shrewsbury Town FC......BUT have you all noticed how many press releases have said how much this has all cost? I wonder what we are being prepared for; I'm not scaremongering but I'm always alert to the 'back story'!
 
It used to be the green wellie brigade but is a little better now though. They aim for rich students and there's masses of expensive new blocks for them....over £1500 per month (no food) but a guard on the door and a giant flat screen TV!
Lots of Arab money as well; we're always on TV for that!!! .....when the talking heads want an opinion!
The best departments were moved out....real engineering and geology!
