It isn't really hindsight at all. Bony was an obvious signing to make in the summer. He had a great scoring record, albeit in the Dutch league, and is at a good age with some great attributes. Plus, he would have been slightly cheaper.

I think he was a rumoured target, or at least I certainly mentioned him a few times. I think when the news broke that Swansea wanted him, a few Saints fans questioned why we weren't in for him.
