These bids is exactly what Lambert talked about a while back on the whole transfer window! "panic buys"

His response was, "i won't lead this club into debt over a couple of panic buys, if we don't get who were after then I will go with the group that we've got"

I think the way Norwich and its staff have handled this "circus" is exemplary. After our start to the season, and the decision that went agaisnt us, we held our heads up and didn't moan too much!

Agreed I think he would have liked to have managed us maybe for reasons outside football as well. I think he admires us and our owners. He has bought a farm down here in Cornwall so he likes the rural side of life. He said Palace would be his last job but maybe the lure of a big money job was too much. But in reality, QPR are still not in the market of what are now big money buys. £5M is not big money in relative Prem terms.
I am not a Warnock hater myself. He did very well down here with Plymouth and was well loved by the supporters even standing on the terraces with them. We still don't know why he was sacked by them but that was their loss.
