Thanks for the report sb & my utmost dmiration for all of you that ventured to Nottingham last night.

Is there anybody that wasn't certain of defeat directly they saw the starting line up?

Thanks stan and well done for making the trip.

I agree that our full backs offer nothing going forward, especially Simpson and attacking full backs are crucial when only playing one striker.
Don't agree about Carroll........I've given up on him. Very poor imo.
Pretty much agree with everything else............especially Krank, who is a huge disappointment and doesn't look to give a ****.

Not sure where you've been for the last few years, but the Championship has got stronger and stronger over that time and is incredibly difficult to escape from. Bigger and bigger clubs are ending up in this league with more and more money being thrown at it. There are more players in this league that could probably get into some Premier League squads than ever before imo. It's far from crap and incredibly competitive.

I saw the game on Sky, but really can't be bothered to write a report on the dross served up yesterday - so well done for doing so!

I thought you summed up the players well, nobody stood out and it was a poor and lethargic performance from everyone - too much turkey the day before!

It does look as though we have been found out, and the injury to Austin just compounded things. We seriously have to improve if we are to secure promotion - the tactics and poor performances are stifling us at the moment

How can you agree with me when I gave Krancjar the top individual score? He was by far our most interesting and dangerous player, he's slow but he put himself about, definitely tried hard. You've slagged him off from day one, just a prejudiced view. Disagree by all means but don't try to insinuate that I have backed up your view.

I've had a lovely last few years thanks, I said the league was crap, not uncompetitive. The EBAC Northern League is competitive, but not necessarily any good. If you think the quality of teams you have seen this year (including us) is high then we simply have different standards. Name me the players who would get into any top 8 premiership team.

Woah!! Steady there tiger. Bloody hell and you criticise me for not liking it when someone disagrees with me.

Anyway, for fear of incurring more of your wrath, I'll try to explain my comments:
Kranky is a very talented player, I've never said anything different. What I have said is that I've never rated him as highly as a lot of other people/pundits and in my opinion, his performances for us are bearing that view out. Apart from a few lovely touches he has looked awful and as you described him........."porky and lumbering". That's hardly a glowing tribute is it? I disagree that he tried hard. Admittedly it's impossible to see it all on the TV, but there were numerous occasions when he was seen just walking back or lightly jogging when we'd lost the ball. He gave the ball away time and time again. Taarabt was exactly like this when he played in that position under Warnock.............difference is that Adel was ripping the league apart! I'm not insinuating that you have backed up my view...........I couldn't care less whether you agree with me or not. The proof is there for all to see right now. Hopefully he will get fit and show us the ability that should see him being head and shoulders above most of the players in this division.

As for The Championship, it is probably the strongest 2nd tier league in World football. I didn't say any of the players would get in the top 8 Premier League teams' squads. I said "some" Premier League squads. Having said that, there is obviously a massive gulf between The Championship and the Premier League.

    Anyway...............Merry Christmas.
