You know what. I think what I am so pissed off about right now, is that politics was always conducted with a certain amount of respect for alternative viewpoints and convention and our institutions and the likes of Boris Johnson and Keir Starmer have eroded that.

Well he can't say it publicly because it's not PC and in some cases potentially unlawful ! The trouble with our private ballot system is that you can smile to your friends and neighbours on your way to shafting them at the ballot box. If people had to admit how they voted then the Tories' numbers would drop like a stone.

Seriously - there are plenty of Tory MPs who genuinely want to serve and I've no problem with those. What is really disappointing is that politicians of every persuasion have got no integrity. Because of that, for the first time I'm in the 'undecided' camp.

I don’t like much of what I’m seeing so far. The Tories wrecked the country but I’m not sure playing at being Tories and pandering to the far right is going to solve much.
Give them time, lets comment & judge in a year or so. In my lifetime of living thru 19 Prime Ministers, beginning with Winston Churchill, I have never witnessed such a shambolic deceitful Govt as in the last 14 years.
The country is ****ed and has been for a while, I was told many times that I was brave to move here but I've always replied.... you're braver staying in the UK !!!
I look forward to visiting you one day Spanish, I have family in Lisbon and try to go see them 2 or 3 times a year!
