To be fair to the lad Bri mate this over enthusiasm about stats is a bit daft, almost every single stat is so subjective it's hardly worth mentioning. Goalkeepers in teams that play from the back tend to near 100% pass accuracy every game but you wouldn't play them in midfield, get a feel for the game rather than having a production line of numbers and figures.

I go to every home match fella, I see every away game to on streams or tv. I base my opinion on what I see, if I can find a stat to back it then I'll use them to help prove my point. I asked him to back it up. Jozy is ****e. You don't need stats, just ask anybody.

I'm the first to say stats don't always tell the full story. Check my posts and you'll see for yourself, don't need be lectured or patronised by a mag <ok>

I only remember one when Sunderland took a quick freekick & Gomez put a class ball into the six yard box. was it shoot or a cross tho? plus what did the lad do second half? can't remember one single thing.

If that were the case it would be fair enough, unfortunately I and others have seen you justify countless arguments based on stats alone. Doesn't wash.

There was two first half mate, I agree he didn't do a lot second half, but if every midfielder could create two chances every game like the two he created we would have no problem scoring <ok>

Doesn't wash? Who the **** do you think you are? What makes you think your opinion counts on here to me? I couldn't give a **** what you or the others you apparently speak for think. I use the stats to back my opinion. I also use stats to stimulate debate too, If you don't like it you can always **** off back to your own graveyard of a board where you won't be upset by the big bad stat. In the meantime If the mods on this board think I'm overusing stats or disturbing the harmony of the board with them I'm sure they have their own mind to let me know. Consider yourself told.

    Here's ****ing stat. 3 in a row!

Not at all, you're just being a prick. Go and see 'if it washes' with your chums on your own board. Cheeky ****.

You might be right to be fair, I just like his calmness and ability to pick a pass and a shot without freaking out. I think he's got 3 goals in 16 which isn't bad (for Sunderland!) and he's very nearly had a couple more. He's one of the types of player that we've been missing for some time, a calm and experienced playmaker.

We could do better mind but for me he's good enough to start.
