What a juvenile little thread this is. We can't say well done cause it's them? PATHETIC. And by the way... This, in spades.
As I don't live in Sunderland I don't hold the same feelings towards the rivalry and in all honesty I don't think much if anything about them. I couldn't care less one way or the other although other family members are not the same due to living over there. This is what would infuriate me with Bruce, he seemed obsessed with them something which imo crossed over to some fans and blinded them to the bigger picture which is Sunderland improving as a team/club. I also wouldn't go out of my way to check their results or watch any of their games although a heavy defeat would probably bring a chuckle as I can't warm to the smug Pardrew for whatever reason? All in all as long as it isn’t affecting Sunderland’s position I couldn’t care less about them but also recognise how well they have done this season with the squad/players they have.
I agree with the op. I've been hearing how well they've done drummed into me for the past few months now from plastic mags who've came out the woodwork. You know the type, haven't been to a game since they were playing in the intertoto cup but for some reason they're the loudest and most arrogant fans of them all. I just don't see the point in talking about them on the SUNDERLAND board.
