So, after much speculation, we have signed Royston Drenthe on a two year contract. This guy has bags of talent but also a bad reputation for his off field activities. He could be the signing of the season, or we may regret ever hearing his name. Only time will tell us the answer.

But for me, the even better news is that Alex Pearce has signed a new contract, also until 2015.

So with Bridge, Drenthe and Pearce all signed up for nothing, it will be interesting to see how deep Anton is prepared to dig to further strengthen the squad.
