I was talking to one of my students last week, a French lad, mad Lyon fan, so no lover of PSG, and I asked him what he thought of Sessegnon (before telling him of our interest in him). First thing he said - seriously - was that Sessegnon is the best player in the world - now and again! He can be absolutely brilliant for half an hour and then disappear from view for weeks. When I told him that we might buy him, he said we would be getting a worldbeater if we can get him to play consistently at his best level. So c'mon, Brucey.
So what do you think? It's claimed that Bruce turned BÃÆÃâÃâ ââ¬â¢ÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãâ¦Ã¡ÃÆÃââââ¬à ¡ÃÆââ¬Å¡Ãâãnt's game around, but there's been a number of players he's brought in with high expectations, who haven't shone at Sunderland - (Riveros and Da Silva spring to mind) Has Bruce got a good track record in building player's confidence up?
We were spreading the goss about Sessegnon early in the transfer window last Summer, then it all went quiet The evidence suggests Bruce can indeed pick 'em
