May have to pay as much as £12million? They can have one of his stray pubes out the shower for that, ****ing idiots.
It's amazing the difference between our clubs transfer policies. Mike Ashley seems to laugh at the idea of signing anyone anywhere near 28+, whereas O'Neill seems to be intentionally targeting older and more experienced players, some of which are very old by footballing standards (i.e. Kevin Davies). Bruce signed quite a few older players too. Interesting to see how the two approaches will pan out. They both have pros and cons.
I don't think your quite right on this on Chappaz. Bruce signed a mixture of youngster and experienced players. Gardner 24 McClean 22 Ji 22 Wickham 18 Westwood 27 Larsson 26 Sess 27 Vaughan 28 Brown 31 OShea 30 Then we have our academy youngsters coming through, we have 4 or 5 players either on loan or in the Res's who are looking like coming through and making it into the first team. Just because we are linked with 1 older player does not mean its our policy.
Typical Chappedarse logic, Sunderland are **** and Newcastle are better based on any flimsy shred of evidence
I suppose what I'm trying to say is that WE have a 'youngsters only' policy, whereas you guys don't, so really it's our policy instead of yours. Maybe it's just more noticeable to me as a mag because I'm so used to us only going for youngsters now. We would probably never sign players as old as Sessegnon or Vaughan, certainly not players as old as Brown and O'Shea and definitely not as old as Davies. That's Mike's cast-iron law. So I suppose it's a comparison between an age limitation policy and a policy without any limitations. Show me a single word where I said it means that Newcastle are better than Sunderland in this respect? Oh yeah, I didn't. The fact that you did, however, suggests to me that you're either very paranoid and assume I'm having a dig, or you actually deep down believe that a policy of buying young players only is the best course of action. If not, then why pick up on it as a dig? Typical Shameless logic = completely illogical.
Mistake of the day... Bayern Munich scored a spectacular PR own goal with their fans following a failed media stunt, in which they misled supporters into thinking they had signed a big name forward, prompting 3000 angry complaints within minutes. The furore started after the Bundesliga club announced on their website they had agreed to sign a 'spectacular name' on Thursday lunch time, before telling excited fans they could watch the unveiling at 1pm on the club's official Facebook page. The news led to thousands of fans taking to Twitter to discuss who the big name signing could be, with many speculating it was Manchester United's Dimitar Berbatov, Manchester City's out-of-favour Carlos Tevez or promising FC Basel winger Xherdan Shaqiri, all of whom have been linked with the club in recent weeks . However, after the subject became a trending topic on Twitter, supporters then switched social networks to Facebook, where they were told clicking 'like' and accepting an application invitation would allow them to watch a live video feed of the presentation of Bayern's new superstar. Yet as the clock ticked past 2pm, the feed had not started, until suddenly, general manager Christian Nerlinger was shown in the video unveiling the new player's identity, only for fans to then see their own Facebook profile picture and name appear on a Bayern shirt, with the number eight. Nerlinger then began to explain what had happened, saying: 'Dear fans, you probably already noticed, that we did not sign a new player. This app is for our fans to show the importance of you for our club.' The feeling clearly wasn't mutual though, as thousands of angry fans, already reeling from Bayern missing out on the signing of talented Monchengladbach attacker Marco Reus to rivals Dortmund, left a wave of furious comments, with 3000 counted within a matter of minutes. Most explained how the club had performed an amazing PR gaffe, with some calling for senior members of management to be sacked, but user Bunyamin Divarci seemed to sum the mood perfectly, by writing: 'you stupid idiots' Read more: http://www.metro.co.uk/sport/oddbal...own-goal-with-new-signing-stunt#ixzz1kf4J6fqc
Being so angry on the internet is such a self-insult I don't need to say anything else. Just calm yourself down child. Read about this before. Never heard anything so ****ing ridiculous in my life. What were they thinking getting the hopes up of fans like that? If that happened at Newcastle I'd be livid.
I'm sorry lads and lasses, but if you don't want Chappaz to contribute to a thread, I would think twice about putting the word 'tit' in the title...
I wouldn't mind so much if this meddling, obsessed, self opinionated wannabe-nobody was vaguely interesting, entertaining or even occasionally funny. Not even close on any count (chap) The Arse -you useless unwanted tosser.
