    You only have to look at the Bundesliga to see that safe standing work. I'd love to see it over here.

    No, canned laughter doesn't make rubbish all of a sudden funny, but the crowd really getting behind the players CAN transform a rubbish performance. As for your last sentence, I have obviously been under an illusion as to what being a fan and supporting your club means. I never realised that Saturday afternoon at Carrow Road was no different from Saturday afternoon at the cinema. <ok>

    I think that would make a huge difference - apart from an increase in crowd size (though obviously not too much) - I think it would reduce ticket prices quite substantially. It's probably a pretty loose logical step, but I think the price reduction would help atmosphere because it makes everyone happier generally, but also make the crowd a bit more forgiving for bad performances!
