In deference to the (justified imo) comments above about promoted teams, you'll note the two home games against promoted sides are missing. Last year, we drew with Wet Hoof and beat Reading, so we averaged two points per game. This year we've managed six points against Palace and Hull, so I make the totals:
2012/13 9 points
2013/14 22 points
So, I know we have a toughish run of fixtures coming up but it's worth repeating again and again that, despite what some pundits have said, yes, we've had an easier start than last year but no, our over performance is in no way reliant on that.

PS Another argument would compare the games against promoted teams with the teams relegated last season, which would mean one point per game (QPR/Wig lost, Reading won) making the relevant numbers 7 points versus 22.
