    Aye but they all had/have masses of ability. I know what you mean about Oba, you did feel you were in the game but more often than not he just flattered to deceive. And there is a guy in row z who is now nursing a permanent headache. The goal against Spurs was ridiculous though.

    As a hammer I'm pretty glad there arn't any rumours linking Carroll with a return to Newcastle, he should stay with us.

    Yeah that's what I was getting at to be fair. He was far from the greatest player, often doing little or nothing for the entire game, but then out of nowhere (every now and then) he'd do something that Messi/Ronaldo would be proud of. It kind of made us worth watching purely for that reason, we could be **** be I always felt we could get a goal with him in our team.
