Thats one of the most ******ed and insane thing I have heard all week.
Surely if a lunge is dangerous, a referee should be capable of spotting it regardless of whether the player is lying on the ground flailing his arm like a spacko.

You must be unfamiliar with every ref who ever lived.

Except that guy who had a bit part role in the hills have eyes.

Its a shame so many football fans are unaware of the rules of the game. Not the complicated rules but the very basics of the game.

Offside. A player must be interfering with play or blocking the goalkeepers line of site.

A foul will be awarded if a challenge is deemed excessive or wreckless.

Too many fairweather fans these days. Hard to take them seriously.

Like you had a clue before this game and you Wiki'd the rule and copied and pasted it into a Wordpad file so you could pull it out down the road. <laugh>

Its a foul all day, the keeper slid in like a maniac.....anyone contesting that is a nutjob.
Rooney's jump and dive seemed theatrical though.

I like all United fans, am familiar with the laws of the game.

Years of re-educating fans of other clubs (lets randomly pick....Liverpool) on the basics has helped in that respect.

every other fan is wrong, United fans are right. Telling!

Well us and the rules. And Bod of course.

But yeh, in general on decisions involving United us United fans tend not to let our hatred of United cloud our judgement and make us look thick.

Not hating United helps see things more clearly too.
