If that's true I think our Board will be tempted (unfortunately) .. it's bound to cause some disruption irrespective ...
The financial rewards of getting promoted far exceed £3.5m, that's the priority for the Board. Unless Kasper wants to go any offers should be kicked as far out as a Welbeck penalty.
Undoubtedly - but if they think they can bring in an equivalent keeper for less money (incl wages) and still achieve promotion then it makes perfect commercial sense to sell Kasper now ... I'm not saying they should ... but they are businessmen first and foremost ...
This, i've no doubt that Pearson will be consulted about it before any bids are accepted, but £3.5m is a pretty nice amount for a player with 6 months left. If Pearson thinks someone else can come in and we can still get promoted, i think the club will sell. I personally would like to see his contract run down, as his shot stopping and 1 on 1's are prem quality and it could be a long time before we find another keeper of his calibre.
I've no doubt the Board & NP only have one aim, promotion & doing what is best to achieve that and as businessmen the best commercial option for the club. There are big IF's in there though. Finding someone available of equal caliber who's going to settle straight in. Obviously, they all have a far greater knowledge and are much better placed than I am to decide these things. I guess that it's because we are in such a good position, the best in years and team stability is a major factor in that I'm nervous of any change involving key players when it's all going so well and that because of it we knob up our promotion chances.
Shows how desperate Milan are for a new keeper and they wouldn't pay that much for a backup - if Kasper doesn't sign now, they'll go after someone else so if true, I wish him well. Disrespectful?
Refused to play for his employers www.sportsmole.co.uk/football/wolves/news/hennessey-refuses-to-play-for-wolves_128097.html Wanted to try and force a move, but all its done is made him look pathetic, as no-one has made any bids, maybe down to that kind of attitude.
I'd be surprised if Milan do want Schmeichel, but if true, I'd rather lose him to a massive club than a small one. Fulham can **** right off, they're not getting any of our homegrown talent! Should homegrow it themselves!
You guys should just put a bid in for Green when you sell Kaspar He's a better keeper than Cesar apparently...according to an on-going thread on our board We do like to shoot ourselves some times....
Good idea, cut out the middle man Balotelli seems to be doing alright for himself, considering he was once an Inter player.
Turned out pretty well for us , and I would suggest this is tosh as I would think ac Milan would set there sights a little higher
I would stay at Leicester City ..That way he will be playing in the premier league next season....everyone's wages will increase. McGregor is doing great at Hull City. .you have a top goalkeeper, so do we. Brilliant. Another bet won today thanks in part to the Foxes my banker every week. Looking forward to visiting my friend in Leicester in may and having a double celebration ...we stay up, you go up....
According to The Sun, Man United interested in Kasper - Lindegard is apparently moving on in the summer
Kasper is a big Man U fan. So you never know Hopefully its just the media using his 2nd name to draw links with Man U
I'd hope that Kasper's head is screwed on enough though to avoid speculation linking him to Manchester United, though he hasn't shown any evidence of having a loosely-screwed head in the slightest. He'd probably be sitting on the bench at Manchester United (although I don't think he's much worse than David De Gea).
De Gea has mistakes i him, would only be a matter of time before he'd get a chance. Plus its his favourite club, i think it would be the only club he would actually sit on the bench for!
