2-0 up at half time. Pity we couldn't field this team in recent games

Also a shame that Posh are 2-0 up
    Derby and Pompey drawing

Thoughts from first half. I reckon it’s 4-2-3-1. Very scrappy and a hard watch at first. Whenever Wing, Scowen or Freeman get more than 1 second on the ball and look forward they pick a great pass, otherwise we just pass it backwards then lump it forward. Wheeler has a fantastic first touch. McCleary the only person willing to run at players. Vokes could do with someone just off him, works so hard for so little. So far it’s been worth the tenner, however according to history it will remain 2-0.

2nd half analysis. Wing and Freeman seemed to swap places which I liked. We appeared to try to bring it down more and play through the lines. Wheeler excellent throughout. McCleary and Vokes were so good but struggled with fitness/style of play. Taff looked short of fitness but him and Forino would be awesome together if fit for a while. JJ great interceptions but passes were off. Last 20 minutes, Scowen was everywhere, what a player, won us the game. Hanlan, great as a sub, caused loads of problems and maybe could have had a goal. Definitely worth the money to watch, however unless full team is fit we won’t make the playoffs let alone win them.

Still involved but it would be a miracle to make playoffs.

The only result that did us any favours last night was Bolton's draw

Even if we were to win our last 3 matches, that would take us to 77 points

Bolton have 4 games left giving them a maximum of 84, meaning they would have to drop 8 points to finish below us
Peterborough have 3 games left giving them a maximum of 82, meaning they would have to drop 6 points to finish below us
Derby have 3 games left giving them a maximum of 81, meaning they would have to drop 5 points to finish below us

Any one of these could happen, I suppose; but 2 of them? And that's if we win all 3

Realistically it's 8th place, possibly 9th if we lose to Pompey

You can get 100/1 for us to win promotion. I would put that at 500/1
and 25/1 for top 6. I would put that at 50/1

Still I would rather be in our position than Ainsworth's home to Norwich then Burnley away, I think him saying he would love to play us in the Championship is more likely to be league 1
