Is this another one of your attention seeking threads? Oh man knocks on door, must run to computer and tell not606.
Had one from the council on Sunday, wanting me to register to vote. Opened the door "hello I'm from the council (shows id ) according to our records" "yeh I just moved here not long ago" "oh I see, okay we can do it now" "no we can't it's lunchtime on a Sunday" "oh okay could you sign this and..." Cut her off "no I don't vote sorry" "well can I just...." Cut her off again "no I don't register to vote either" "you do know it helps with cred...." "yeh I know and no I don't vote and therefore have no reason to register" "right okaaaay... well can I get you to sign this form saying...." "no I'm afraid you can't, so thanks for knocking on my door on a Sunday during my lunch and asking me to sign something I just told you I don't do, have a good day, bye" I'm pretty ****y to anyone that comes to my door unannounced tbh, she got off lightly, last time was a TV licence guy at my old gaff, I knew they were coming as they'd sent me a letter saying so, opened the door on the chain to him, when he told me was from the TV licence I took the chain off and opened the door bollck naked, oddly he said he'd come back another time. My Mrs thought it was hilarious
As much as I'd love to, that's a one way ticket for me I really like ****ing with the TV licence people, I've never paid one and never will, I know my rights when it comes to them ****s. Give them nothing, no info no chit chat, **** the door and tell them to go away or you'll call the Popo, off they go then letters every two weeks forever trying to threaten you with fines and using words like "investigation on your address" Scum
It's really easy to not pay them tbh, no info no confirmation of your name, nothing, ask them to leave or you'll call the police. They seldom return after that in my experience.
