I wonder what it is the board sees in Adams. It is safe to say the reaction on this board has been universally negative to his appointment and I too am wondering why we took so long then to then decide Neil Adams would manage the club. Of course everybody said that they would get behind our new manager whatever may be but let's face it Adams hasn't even started the job and is already not going to be popular (as a manager that is, not as a servant to the club) and if we start next season badly I can see fans turning on him real quick.
David McNally says: (and if this wasn't his decision why would he say this?) ""Neil impressed us when he stepped up to the plate for the last five games of the season[...]" Well I gotta say he didn't impress me tbh, regardless of the nature of the opposition 1 point from 15 and failing to score in four of five games isn't impressive.
Is Neil Adams the right man to lead us as we look to try and bounce back from relegation? I really don't know...
