Yes. A football club with no supporters cannot function. For clarity, a football club with supporters that exclusively or mostly back the team whatever the name of the club, can function. I don't know how likely that is to happen.
I have said before that I used to see the KC as the home of Hull City AFC. I now see it as a place that I go to watch "Hull City" play. It is a consequence of success, that the "true" supporter will become less of an influence. As the club expands its fan base, the "true" supporter becomes marginalised and whilst they never disappear the reliance on the club for their money becomes less.
Unfortunatly that is the way of the beast that is modern football. Turn back the clock to when football was still a provincial game and some clubs would shirk massively overnight. If Hull City want to live in that world it's the way it has to be.

ppl complain about the name change and how they support only the team. I wish CTWD had the balls to make a picket line on match days regarding the name change. See how many scabs would watch and rather pay AA for the priviledge of singing at 19:04 than stand by their principles.

He was the one who brought up the supporters trust / federation thing. Even going on to say he hoped the fans could become shareholders in the club. Unfortunatly some of CTWD took him at his word, and openly discussed the possability and got slagged off for "trying to take over the club for nothing"
Thats even worse then, as we have been over the same points time and time again. (shooting them down every time ) I just saw the join date as Aug 2014 and did'nt check for previous user names.
