I'm not bothered who takes the credit.

Most of us are not more interested in our own egos than we are in what's good for the Club we support.
If members of Meire's personal fan club wish to crow that they were 'in the know' all the time, good luck to them. I'm sure we are all very impressed.

Getting Grigg (if we do get him) will be much more important to our future this season than who wants to claim credit for it on a forum.

Rich Cawley has just said no.

 

The prevailing views at the moment appear to be either Godden or nobody.

I was going to say what happens in the next 70 minutes could make a real difference to the rest of our season, but if the above options are all we have then it probably won't.

All the talk on CL now is about Rangers player Joe Dodoo (I kid you not).

Apparently he may be coming to Charlton on a loan move until January?

Joe Dodoo has been signed. It's on the website.
Dodoo has scored 3 goals in 20 appearances for Rangers since 2016.

Gobinson tells Novak he can go.... we then find that we can not sign an experienced replacement for peanuts... plan B is to sign a non scoring kid from Rangers who is patently out of his depth in the Scottish Prem.

On the plus side Warburton (a manager I much admire) tried to arrange a loan to the Tree Huggers but failed to agree terms of a deal so we stepped in.... I trust Warburton so Dodoo may be a player yet?

This still leaves us with just two strikers.... as PEA says.... utter madness

On the plus side (2) swapping Novak for Dodoo must save on wages which will help poor Mr Douche and the stupid moo who runs the Club so badly.
