They have a great best of list but unfortunately they went downhill fast as far as albums go Gish is the best by far for me then Siamese and Melon were good but that was it and those two were a bit indulgent and cheesy at times with to many strings hanging around songs. Gish though is just superb from start to finish.
I've only got a Spotify playlist of thiers, I don't actually own anything. That's all that one needs!
There's a best off on Spotify that gives you all the hits, I have that and the Gish album saved only. If you haven't listened to Gish as a whole I'd highly recommend.
90s was a great era for music. Massive Attack - Mezzanine in particular is just gold dust. Lots of quality stuff from multiple genres.
Chief comes in and saves the day, finally with some tracks i could listen to.. Then destroys it by posting bruce ****ing springshit.
He does a lot of decent stuff. Quite a bit is middle of road American rock though, can't argue. Again, I don't own anything, I just have a Spotify best of playlist. Which is a good listen.
There are some good covers of his stuff as well, I mentioned the Broadway show that is on Netflix, it's stripped down versions of his songs and very good.
A couple of old timers from the 60s were ressurecting their careers with some quality music... Neil Young released a live album in '92 backed by Crazy Horse called Weld with many blistering versions of his old favourites... Love this... And then teamed up with Pearl Jam for an album of new songs...
