    My great uncle was in the Normandy landings. He survived but ****ed him up in the heid. Died in a mental Hospital.

    My great uncle Jack came back from the war with shell-shock and syphilis (the latter a momento of a Paris whore house). Used to jump behind a wall every time he heard a loud noise. He was a postman in Hampstead for years, his customers got well used to the sight of him cowering behind their hedges after a van backfired. Died many years later in Colney Hatch nuthouse. Rip Jack.
