You're very easily entertained, but I'm glad to have been of assistance.

Just a point but there's no such thing as better, or good, or bad weather. There's just weather.

The PL should insist that from next season all PL games should have prices capped. With TV cash alone way above what anyone expected not long ago £30 adults would not cost even the big clubs that much.

Jamie Carragher ex.Liverpool estimates that by keeping prices down it would only cost Liverpool £2/3m. The £77 ticket looks to be dead in the water now already.

Wouldn't it be a great PR exercise by the Liverpool players if they came out, led by Jordan Henderson, and said they'd cut their wages to the equivalent amount of reducing all the £77 priced tickets to, say, £40. It would cost them hardly anything per player to the extent that they wouldn't miss it and build massive bridges between fans and players. And if they did I could see a snowball and all other PL club players doing the same. Next thing you know you've got a £40 cap and the faith of all football fans restored for a measly cost.

    But it wont happen.

    True.

You know IF (and yes it wont happen) but IF ALL AGENTS were banned / removed from the game player deals would not be as high as they are. Let us face it, who of us would not work for someone paying stupid wages. But I would also suggest that many players would be more than happy to accept £30k a week wages from the lofty earnings they get now. But as you say it wont happen.

Until clubs say enough and NO to greedy agents / players then this mega deal will only make matters worse for many of the top clubs.

Thankfully we wont have to worry about the really greedy players and there agents.
