It's always nice to see teams that do it the right way do well. Since Swansea and NCFC got promoted to the Premier League we have proved we both deserve to be there and play some good football without spending a lot and also I think we add something to the league unlike QPR, Stoke and Wigan etc. Probably why I have a bit of a soft spot for Swansea, you're a lot like us in some ways. All the best for your game tomorrow =)
Yeah lots of common ground between the clubs Drunky. Thanks for the best wishes, I hope we get a win but that might be pushing it a tad!
Still early days and they are only 5 points behind us although I have noted they have lost more home games this season than is normal and have read/heard that they have been poor in recent weeks, along with Newcastle, Sunderland, Wigan and Reading. Don't really know what to make of it all right now, this season is looking very odd
Still can't believe we're above 'BIG clubs' like Arsenal and Liverpoo'!!! As CH says - "we need to keep as big a gap as we can between us and the relegation zone!!!'
We already have more points than wolves last year With the fixtures that are coming up, we have a superb cushion from the bottom 3 and if we can pick up 5 or so points before we start playing the likes of reading at home then we should be fine... So hard to gauge how many points will need to be safe!
Cheers, swans are probably the team I first look for after our score. Laudrup has invested the Allen / Rodgers money very well. If we stay up, I hope we can make some similar quality additions next summer. We've started with basong and tettey
37.QPR and Reading plus 1 other.Wigan look most likely but Bobby Brown Shoes has performed so many escapes I wouldnt bet against another.
I don't think either are playing particularly well and are presently inconsistent, Man City certainly are not the same as last year, I can see a good chance for two or even three points.
He's massively underrated in my opinion. Does things with the minimum amount of fuss. Calm and usually picks the best ball. Also a great crosser of the ball.
Anyone remember whether we ever reached the dizzy, nosebleed-inducing heights of seventh (7th) under Lambert at any stage?
IMO, ALL of the signings CH has brought in seem to be more than repaying their fees - Bassong and Tettey in particular. Turner seems to be improving with each game as well. A few more shrewd signings in January and I see no reason why both us and Swans shouldn't still be in the EPL next season!!!! C'mon you Yellows!!
Lets all remeber how well the team have done to date no whining if we get turner end over by Cheski and Man City I'm hoping we can get something at WBA and even a point against Chelsea, man city I can only hope they eat a lot of Xmas pudding before the match
Probably West Brom. But if not then Chelsea. And if Man City play anything like vs Newcastle then they will definatley end it. If we are still unbeaten after those three I would actually be amazed beyond words.
