This study is just wrong. It took me one minute to find out that the cheapest adult ticket for Watford's first game of the season is £26, so they've just made that up. Doncaster's cheapest is £27, Ipswich is £27, Birmingham is £27, Bristol City are £25, although they were still happy to write an article about how cheap their tickets are. Barnsley are £23. So that's six teams down the list, none even close. By the way, our prices are correct as an adult in the Chapel booked in advance is £23. Not sure about pies and tea as I've never had one, I never realised they were necessary to watch football matches.
We have spent the last month or so pleading for expensive player purchases - that money has got to come from somewhere as we can't expect Markus's family to keep forking out cash handouts, we have to do our bit by buying tickets, programmes, shirts etc Expensive? Yes but so are new players!
Thats rather good.. considering you get a GREAT atmosphere.... alot of saintly banter int he pubs and watch a CRACKING game of football.. at a beautiful stadium!
Yep, agreed. I haven't really put my opinion forward other than to say that I decide to go and pay what they charge. End of. I do think it's good value. I love the ground, love the atmosphere and the whole day out. Of course ours is a real day out as we have a 2 hour drive either side of the match to add to the build up to the day.... though on the back of a bad result, that's a long drive home!
