Colchester going for the play offs

 

If we lose one more game than Exeter do we will be in the play offs (unless Luton fall over) - ignoring draws

 

We played ten minutes of really good football & scored twice. Yes we could have had a couple more how we did'nt score in the goal mouth scrambles I don't think anybody knows and penalty turned down & a brilliant double save from the Beast from their goalkeeper which Akinfenwa was still talking to their goalkeeper about after the match. Williams had a really good game, Sido was poor today. Harriman has not got the speed if he gets caught out of position like he did with their first goal. Once we did score you could see there was only going to be one winner. We have been in Grimsby's position a few years back you could see what happened was coming along.
I did think it was Coventry we had to worry about now I think it is Exeter, it is in our own hands which is the main thing.

 

It was my halftime team talk that did it. Your players should be eating their orange segments and not reading not606 at halftime.

A poor first half in which Harriman looked off the pace but we did have the lions share of possession and shots but we were different class in the second half and should have won a lot more comfortably
