EDIT: Latterly I used to put "Cardiff Nomad" on the Beeb site... mostly as I'm a wandering exile, but also because the Nomads used to be a local amateur team didn't they, a few City players came from there over the years

The Masked Man....obvious isn`t it? The older members will remember the Lone Ranger and his sidekick Tonto. Sparkey tries to bring the conversation down with his remarks about his sexuality, but we stand proud!

I never said the masked man was a bandit, just that he had an unhealthy apetite for anything wearing feathers.

They swapped horses once, and the Lone Ranger asked Tonto if he realised he was sitting on Silver? Tonto said "I don't care how much you're offering kimosabe - piss off!"............

He was never gay Sparkey, but I did hear that in his earlier years, he had a tendency to shoot up the sheriff!
They did end up in some dodgy places however, in one bar I was asked did I want my stool pushed in!

I remember an episode when the Lone Ranger and Tonto were surrounded by about 200 Apaches, and were down to their last couple of bullets.

The Lone Ranger turned to Tonto and said

"Well this looks like the end for us old friend"

Tonto replied

"What do you mean US white man"
