Lee Bowyer's toughest job now is reminding his players that the Rochdale game is not a formality. Some of them may be tired, but they need to stay focused and take Rochdale seriously. If we are destined for the play-offs let's get there the right way with a decent performance and hopefully a fourth straight win.
I must remember to take one of these home with me next time. I have about 50 glasses which I'd like to stick in a display cabinet. Unfortunately my beloved is not keen on the idea.
The World Cup has been very kind to me so far. I had £3 on Russia to beat Saudi 5-0 33/1 Last night I had over 5.5 goals in the Spain v Portugal match. For anyone who likes a bet, England v Tunisia will definitely be under 2.5 goals and do the 0-0 draw #fillyourboots
The bookies always significantly underprice England at World Cups - they know that lots of once a year punters have a patriotic bet knowing nothing about the prices. Hence they sell a pair of 99p socks for a fiver.
Still in my collection of vinyl, another with a picture sleeve. "So What" by the Anti-Nowhere League.
I used to collect recirds back in the day. For some reason Iltravox always went for clear vinyl so that predominates, but there were a few good 2nd hand shops in Soho you could find stuff in at lunchtime. I still have them in the garage. Also had a decent program collection, which mysteriously vanished when I went to Uni. Nowadays its astronomy. I have a decent telescope which gets an airing every now and then.
From memory I have "That certain smile" on clear vinyl. Around Berwick Street there are still about three vinyl record shops.
My hobby, in addition to wasting money on supporting Charlton, is eating out. I aim for 7 nights a week. The oven at home he used to store things on.
