There's been a lot of hype up here this year as to how good the Scotland team can be, with the Glasgow Warriors team doing so well - looks like it wasn't just hype!
 
Big congrats to the Scots. Solid performance and deserved the victory. Ireland well off par. Scotland won't roll over this year.
 
Not the best of starts.

France 3-0 up and looking solid. England mustn't make the mistake of being over-confident.
 
Very harsh yellow card.
Rugby is becoming as bad as football for punishing almost all contact.
 
After being unbeaten for a year, this is the worst half I've seen from England. Injuries have left a lot of holes.

All square at half time but the French look dangerous, we need to up our game in the 2nd half, maybe the quality of our replacements will tell in the end...
 
England are missing their big players up front and this Aussie ref is doing everything he can to give France the game.
France are dominating up front and our ball is so slow.

Converted try now to France and England looking down and out!

The French ran out of steam in the final 10 minutes and Haskel made a huge difference up front when he came on.

A massive win when not at their best from England.
 
Well, I didn't expect either of todays results. I thought Ireland would easily beat Scotland and we would thrash France. I might have a fiver on Italy tomorrow.

Phew! Credit to the French, good enough to win. A lot for England to work on if they want to emulate last year, but there is a resilience about the team, and sometimes you have to win ugly
