I still know a lot of people there. My mate is the manager of the Brewdog bar there and will still know people in Ma Nolan's and Wayne's Bar. I might take a wee trip there after the summer actually.
Will try and visit all of them, looking forward to it, heard a lot of changes around Gambetta, traffic one way, trees, Metro, think I missed the boat for a cheap apartment in that area.

Yeah I remember you telling me about the one way traffic thing around there and the hookers got moved on? Have you been to Nice since the tram tracks from the airport were finished? Think it goes to the port now too?

Yeah, 2019,it's brilliant, straight off the plane, onto Metro and into town, hassle free, you should take a trip.

In the old town or the port? The one on the port is probably the nicer bar
Yeah you're right, went in there for tennis final before and it was jammed, typical French, the minute the final ended the place emptied, only on a pay per view channel.

Yeah they are weird. When the football is on they will nurse a pint between 4 of them for the whole 2nd half then **** off as soon as the final whistle goes whereas the Brits and Irish are still ordering drinks in injury time.

It's a Latin thing isn't it? I'm not well-travelled but Northern and Eastern Europeans all like chucking drink down their necks I think.
