Steve, more and more the whittingham problem is apparent. The dead ball specialist does exactly that too often, free kicks and corners all wasted, as far as defensively is concerned he was never that in fact his one glory year was playing on the wing and converting 10 penalties. He has been loyal over the years but seems oblivious to playing in the premiership and showing off his undoubted skills. He has become a liability. jck
I've got to agree Whitts has been a brilliant servant for us but time to phone forest to see if they still want him.
Everyone from 10th down are in the same boat so there is still plenty to play for. 7 out of them 10 will be here next season and come the last few games then goal difference could well come into play so i think cardiff needs to shore up the defence and maybe a better keeper is needed in this final window and try to lower your not very good goal difference that could be the difference of staying up or going down..
Dai ...... Lately you have been welcome over here but today you've decided to have a go at wumming with your last two sentences get a grip or disappear please Dai
We have had quite a few bad calls with our players being man handled in the box at corners and freekicks but so have other teams as well the refs just dont like to give decisions in the box, outside and its a definite freekick. Lee Mason is a shocking ref and i cant believe he is still allowed to ref in the premier league
And I can't believe trixter is allowed near a computer - t055er (must be using the probation centre's laptop) now fekk off back on the sticky sticky you prikk
I reckon he ran into the soul crew when he was young he really doesn't like us Just a thought could Lee mason be aussiejack
I don`t think we are allowed to say things about the refs, some managers have been fined thousands for that so it wont be long before fans are fined. jck
Blue turk i can assure you its not a wum as i leave that nonsense to aussiejurk and others. I am just pointing out a possible pit fall that's all as it would be a nightmare if you go down because of a single goal difference. you have got to admit that it is one area that ole must look at...
If that second one is from our match today it's obviously photo shopped as the ball was not over the line and even if it might have been it wasn't anywhere near looking like that. Never mind I just saw a bigger version of the picture & that shows the ball not over the line & what looks like the ball here is actually the keepers stuff.
Now that's not very nice is it? I understand though. I would be upset too if my team had been so easily beaten by a team depleted by injuries and whose confidence was on the floor. I forgive you blueturk.
I agree with this, Whitts has been very poor for a quite a few games now, and I think his days are numbered. We used to rely on his set pieces, but I cannot remember the last time he gave a good one. A lot of his corners go directly to the goalkeeper, or the opposition who then make a fast break catching out our defence. His passing leaves a lot to be desired, and his tackling is non-existent. I worry every time he gets the ball.
f**k me. Unless the highlights were way off (and we know that can happen), it looked to me like you could easily have go a draw and even nicked it. You had shots on goal and decent movement going forward. If it wasn't for an overly spirited performance from WHUFC, you were quite competitive. You lot are talking like you might as all throw in the towel now! (and all this from someone that would be quite happy to see you go down!)
As MattBoundlurks said - along with others Dai - you can pick 25 out of the squad But NOT Marshall as he's one of the top 5 keepers in this Division
Throw the towel in ?, no way OGS has not many games to put thinks right but will have enough to keep us up. Going to be hard to go to the two Manchester clubs but next month could bring us 12 points, home games against Norwich, Villa & Hull plus away against Swansea all beatable.
