I think the mag win may help us in the derby. They'll be breathing a massive sigh of relief and will be 100% focused on the 2nd leg of the Europa tie. If they come back in that, the next game they play would have to be a come-down for the players. Bit like West Ham in 1980 after they won the FA Cup.
Thisis the one scenario i was dreading, us joint 3rd bottom and them needing a win to ensure safety, i reckon tempers will be at boiling point if we lose on sunday and if they throw another game away, i reckon the Everton gate will be about 30,000 and the fact we cannot beat them. I would be very happy with a draw.
