Oh ok, my mistake! Whenever I've seen him, which admitedly is not that often and mostly in the pre-season games so far, he has played Centre Back. More importantly though he has always looked composed and assured.

We have to bring in at least one CB even if Nigel thinks Stephens can step up this season.

And yes I completely agree another centre back is needed. But one centre back would be enough. 2 seems like just making signings for the sake of it to me. Realistically cannot see Adkins signing 2 new centre backs.

Agreed plus we need him in mid-field. Need an experienced premier league centre half!

If anyone in our midfield could do a decent job at CB it would be Chaplow. Morgan is not strong enough to be a good defender nor does he win enough headers.

At this level we don't want to play mid-fielders as make-shift defenders. We need specialists!
