Dai you are being ludicrous mate, the guy has played 2 games, did you seriously expect us to beat man city ? He has played a role he is learning from, IMO lita will get his chances as well but we have who we have, perhaps you want beatie to play instead of him ?
Dai if you think he needs to be dropped to the reserves after 2 games, with one of them being Man City, then you as are far from being a realist as Cardiff City is from being a premier league team!
so lets play him again at home against sunderland and hope he somehow starts to play, here we have a player that has never played top flight football and it shows big time playing what looks above his standard while all the time we have a proven scorer at this level on the bench, dont talk daft we cant afford to take chances at this level..
Dai most of our team ain't played top flight football, do you want to send them all to the reserves ? The fact is we are the minnows of this league and players are thrown in the deep end, we can't afford to let £3.5m signings to sit in the reserves hoping they will improve there
like my Torres post torres played 9 games without scoring for chelsea. he was not thrown in the reserves he was given time. thats what danny needs. wasnt DG in the Middleborough squad when they were last in the prem?
sinclair didnt have a shot on target against wigan should he be in the reserves aswell. as for Vorm being MOM twice i thought it was Silva against man city and Dyer against Wigan. i must have bad ears or somehting because i heard the guy over the crowd on sat saying it was dyer. Vorm only made a few saves and he saved a pen other than that he was not that busy. as for you knowing more about football because your a realist how does that work? a realist dont give you knowledge about it dos it?
so all the time we take a chance on well over priced danny for another presious home game and what then after another poor display, we play him again i suppose while our target home games get less and less. it wont be the first time anyone as bought a £3.5 million flop......we will be relegated before we know it without giving it our best shot, drop him now and let lita have a shot what do we have to lose....

Our ratings was dyer in the wigan game, and we don't do worse players ratings, probably something to with the fact that confidence would be gone !
we dont choose the MOM. you can give ratings but thats it. jump back into your plant pot ans grow up will you. you are sad to be honest what has danny got over you as i can see you dont like him one bit. how much service has he had in the 2 games he has played this season? when he has had a half chance he has tryed to finish it. the first chance against wigan the ball was behind him and he tryed to get it in. but as he had to try and get his foot round the ball while he was turning onto it its not easy. have you ever played a strikers role?
no blame can be put on dg as he's had no service, drop britton for joe allen and bring dobbie back in for routledge, get augustien to sit back and joey to push on with dobbie, also get sinclair to roam around a bit more, you never see him in the game most of the time.

Dr Love: Spot on. Dobbie/ Allen for me every time. Routledge for when Dyer loses his legs second half. Routledge had a good game Saturday but he doesn't score goals and we need them in the next couple of games, particularly our next home game. However Dai has a point about DG. If we don't start winning games we'll be well adrift by October and in a position we might not recover from. That said, I'm not advocating that DG is dropped. At least not yet. Give him a run out at the Shrews (I don't think that will happen btw) and get him some confidence. Dai is wrong in another aspect - DG has worked pretty hard in both games and his lay-offs and work rate have been excellent. But so far his finishing has been non-existent and he has had some chances. 'The goals will come' is all very well , I've said it myself, but the line will have to be drawn sooner or later. My preference is to give him another couple of league games with the Dobbie/Allen combination behind him and see how that goes.
totally agree doc i also think that playing DG against the shrews would be a good plan, he might get a hat trick and instill some confidence but the guy has got to run. i admit i only saw the first 30 min of the city game cos i had to go to work but hopefully a few more games under his belt he will come good and to all the ppl who think a point is good with 59% of possession, hmmmmmm i suggest you think again is fitness a prob with a few guys (and before everyone jumps down my throat) i know this is a different class and pace from previous years but dyer, aug and sinclair seemed to die rather rapidly in the second half. anyway first point on the board and 45 to go (at least) hopefully
Is she a goer then? Agree with some of the posts on here, we need to get more bodies forward. How many times have the wide men got forward and there`s nobody there in the middle to take advantage. Possession is wonderful if you take advantage of it by scoring, if we don`t score, possession means nothing. Agreed, if we`ve got possession the opposition can`t score, but then again, neither can we, so far ! We have been slow starters for a couple of years, but we need to gat our act together sooner rather than later.
Musty. Not unusual for us to dominate the posession stats. Have you been watching for the last three or four seasons? It was over 60% by the way. Lots of teams are happy for us to knock it about in triangles in our own half.
