50% youth in the team

Was watching the Man U Chelsea game yesterday and got to thinking about our plan of the team being 50% from the acadamy, a few posters yesterday were saying posible in 10 years time. Our weakness is we have a bad record in producing players for the middle ie. Keeper,CB,CM and CF but great at producing wide men, whereas Man U have the opposite history. Below is the probable best team we have with an acadamy alteritive next to him, really do not think we are 10 years away.

Boruc - None
Clyne - Stephens
Fonte - None
Yoshy - None
Fox - Reeves or Shaw
Spidy - Gape but he is long term optin
Davis - JWP, Reed
Ramirez - Reeves or Lallana (yes I am counting him as acadamy)
Mayuka - Chambers
Lallana - Sinclair, McQueen
Lambert - Seager

Sorry if I missed other promising players, but we are building a good reserve of 1st team players

 

Well the first hole in that is that they produced George Best and Ryan Giggs...............

 

No need to find an alternative to Lallana; he counts.

 

so lets say the last 15 years, so that rules out Shearer as well smart arse
