If I didn't discount things in life that weren't likely I'd be a paranoid schizophrenia who never leaves the house. Until you have reasonable doubt you have to opt for the most likely scenario. It's true that there's no smoke without fire but there's not even any smoke here no matter how much you wish there was!
Fair point until you got trivial and rather personal ... I have never inferred that Pearson does not get on with his own backroom staff - just that it is a bit naïve to assume that they come as a package and will forever be tied to the hip with Nigel out of 'respect for his ability and loyalty' etc . Many a number two has stepped into a vacant managerial position rather than following a sacked manager ... but again I bow to your superior understanding of the human psyche - I'm with you now, plainly Nigel is not the sort of guy who will ever fall out with anyone he works with ...
Not sure why you have to resort to sarcasm, pretty childish for some who's so keen on letting us know how much older you are than most of us. I never said they would work together for the rest of their careers, I'm talking about the past and present. They've worked together for five years now, which is a long time to work with someone you don't rate. To paraphrase the Simpy Red song: If they don't know him by now, they'll never, ever know him. This whole subject is trivial. It's also had much more attention than it deserves considering it's not even based on anything of substance.
I don't 'resort to sarcasm' - I revel in it - it is part of me - as is never taking life too seriously. As to my age, that is just what I am - not something 'I'm keen to let people know about' - although it does mean that I am able to make comments on the club's history over many years that are factual - and hence I am not overly loyal to any particular managers as I know that they come and go and also that some are better than others. But don't ever confuse that with not being loyal to my club
I wouldn't question anyone's loyalty to the club unless they walked around in an another team's replica kit or featured another team's badge in their avatar (just kidding AKCJ!). We get passionate because we care.
