Unless of course he thought he was describing himself on the Liverpool board and mistakenly posted on here.
I will be disappointed if we don't win 5 out of 7. Taking each game at a time, I see no reason to fear anyone if we play to our ability. Also fancy us to get a draw at Arsenal. 25 Nov - Liverpool (H) win 28 Nov - WBA (H) win 1 Dec – Arsenal (A) draw 8 Dec – Norwich (H) win 12 Dec – Middlesborough (H) (Cup) win 16 Dec – Spurs (A) win 23 Dec – Man U (H) defeat 13 points plus a cup win for me.
25 Nov - Liverpool (H) win 28 Nov - WBA (H) win 1 Dec â Arsenal (A) draw 8 Dec â Norwich (H) win 12 Dec â Middlesborough (H) (Cup) win 16 Dec â Spurs (A) win 23 Dec â Man U (H) draw 14 points and through to semis of League Cup. Happy days.
No need to try, because I'm not. Casual seems to be very popular on this board though; still gets talked about months after he left. What a legend! We have a great team and can win most of these games. We could beat any of them on a good day, so we just have to make sure we play at our best. I'm an optimist at heart; it makes life much more fun.
1pt from our first match. It was important not to lose today to make sure we get this period off to a good start. WBA next.
Beat WBA and we will be looking good for our 40 point target. Baggies are playing with confidence and will be a tough nut. We need to match their energy and close down their midfield. If we do that we could win a tight game perhaps by 2-1. But if we start sitting back and invite them onto us, as we have tended to do in recent games, they have the form strikers to punish us. Stopping them playing higher up the pitch will be key.
well that's the first one right for me and now on to WBA that are a better team than Liverpool and i hope im wrong in my next prediction but we will have to be a lot better against them if my prediction don't make it 2 in a row....
Agree musty but i couldnt let them odds go to waste on the off chance on punters league 7/1 come on the jacks.
If we look at the results of the corresponding fixtures so far this season compared with last, we are 3pts better off - for Bolton read Reading/for Blackburn read Southampton/for Wolves read WHU. (I think that after 14 fixtures last season we had 14pts) Coming up in the next 4 games we have: 1 Dec – Arsenal (A) 8 Dec – Norwich (H) 16 Dec – Spurs (A) 23 Dec – Man U (H) We lost each of these corresponding fixtures last season. So whatever we pick up from now until Christmas can only increase the improvement.
Hell we have already got 7 of my predicted 10 points, I must have well and truly underestimated KING LAUDRUP!...................
I wrote this thread because I thought we had a chance to do well with 5 of our 7 matches being home. I wasn't expecting us to win away as well!! Norwich next - our bogey team!
