yea i think caulks will be in spurs first team next season but i reckon if we offer £5 mill for sig then there is a good chance we will get him, he has already stated that he dont want to go back and would rather play in the premiership with us, he loves it here and is well settled so with a bit of luck and some fine negotiations by jenkins and co then we have a chance, we could increase the £5 million to £7 million that they paid reading if we offer them a deal if we stay up next season. I think its a price worth paying for this classy player imo.....
I dont think caulks is the finished article yet, think he will make the first team on occasion but does sometimes tend to switch off, its to be expected of somebody who is learning, there isnt really anything else bad a could say, he is pretty much flawless for a 20yr old
I hope Spurs think Caulker isn't ready next season and sends him back to us. What a quality player he is going to be, not half bad now mind you. As for the Sig I say sign him up asap. It's not just his all round play and free kicks but for the first time in along time we look dangerous at corners too. His delivery is exceptional
The only way we will get Caulker is if Harry goes for the England job. We may be in with a small chance if they go to Champions League and Redknapp thinks he is still too inexperienced...but if that was the case I could only see it being another year loan which I wouldn't mind given how well he has fit in....im just waiting for a goal, he seems to be getting closer each week!! As for Siggy i think we have a great chance if we can fend off the likes of the clubs that are rumoured to be interested e.g. Juve. He is happy here, he is playing in a great team and by the sounds of some of his interviews the new manager at Hoffenhiem hasnt bothered keeping that much of a tab on him since he has arrived...its al going to come down to £££, hence why I hope a pre agreed amount has been included in the load agreement!
If it looks like we don't get Caulker back on loan during the summer , I'd rather spend up to 3 million on a quality CB that Rodgers likes that would fit the team once & for all rather than loan at CB again .
