I have no idea how he got away with it mate, it was absolutely disgusting. It defied all logic that it was ignored. Bruce went down in my estimations after excusing Meyler of that tackle, he's a **** manager with no morals. I seriously hope Rojo jumps all over Meyler's leg and ends that **** for good when we play them.
After his cheating and barracking of referee's to get Cattermole sent off at Hull I tend to agree with you. Meyler & Bruce went down in my estimation then too - Bruce had obviously told his players to target Cattermole to try to get him sent off - I remember he got booked for a nothing tackle after some play acting. PLayers like Meyler and Elmohamady will get booed to **** by me this season. Have no respect for them at all
The stamp came out of pure jealousy that Adnan was running rings round Meyler, he got that frustrated that he put his studs into a young kids leg, despite him being a sicknote himself for years with all kinds of injury issues. It was a coward's tackle, I said at the time, if he'd done that to Roy Keane or Eric Cantona he'd probably be sitting at home now, knowing he'll never play football again.

I basically like to see all North East teams do well apart from Newcastle and, to a lesser extent, Middlesboro! I don't even hate Boro, they mean nothing to me. Though I suppose if they came back up I'd like them to go back down again, just for ****s and giggles!! Even when we occupied the same division, when we lost to them it was just like any other loss to me! Dislikes Newcastle QPR (just a recent dislike, rather more the regime than the club and its supporters! Certainly did not want them to come back up) Birmingham (don't really know why, just don't like to see them win) Hull (cheeky whippersnappers! Nothing against the supporters in general, not even because of Bruce I don't think. Maybe because of one or two gloaters on here who I would like to see get their comeuppance!) West Ham (since the Tevez fiasco! I also have a particular dislike for Tony Gale when he talks about them. I remember him doing SAFC v West Ham commentary on Soccer Saturday a while back and his brand of biased was sickening! Funny how little things from years ago stick with you!
