He and Boyd both scored their one-on-ones too. None of this pissing their pants under the pressure and hitting it straight at the keeper, they kept their heads and stuck 'em home like proper strikers. Brilliant.
When Boyd went round the keeper and stuck it in I felt about 5 years worth of frustration wash away. Two years of Premier League crap and 3 years of Championship dross, with the likes of Rowan Vine, Dele Adebola and Jay Simpson up-front had made me forget what it was like to see somebody play - and score - like a proper forward (which he obviously isn't, bizarrely)

Anyone got a clue as to how much Gedo will cost us in the summer (or even before then, which personally I would be leaning towards).
I've seen a figure of £3M quoted, and, if accurate, that sounds a bargain to me, especially when you compare the Prossie fee

The Daily Mirror quoted the figure at £3 million and they usually aren't wide of the mark with transfers. If I recall, we both saw Fahti as a great prospect too...based again on video footage, let's hope we got that one correct too. Boyd & Gedo are gonna get even better IMO, especially with the supply lines recognising their off-the-ball movement abilities. Looking good....class acquisitions..
It's based on their ability to print a rumour that comes true. They usually get it right, maybe 80% of their City rumours have turned out have some value. They're certainly more reliable than other papers. Their internal contacts in the game must be better than their competitors.
I don't think many people can have predicted that he would have this impact on the team , I'm sure Steve Bruce even said he has far exceeded his expectations But if you really did watch hours of youtube footage and came on here saying he'd be sensational and score 5 in 5 , well done
Well done to the lad, I watched him against Blackburn and he took his chance well and looked a nuisance for their defence. He's getting the goals at the moment which is great, whether he's proven or not at this level at the moment is irrelevant. Bit of moaning after he signed from some but hopefully he has silenced the doubters.

Gedo is so much smarter than Simpson, if Simmo was clever enough to have the movement in the box Gedo has he would of had a load of goals this season. He must be absolutely kicking himself.
