Interesting. It can be free scoring and 1 guy that stops the flow can be the difference. I'm sticking with 1 defender.
I think there’s room for a silky defender in a 5 a side team Solid at the back but got the skills to knock it about a bit with the odd burst forward but defensive solidity guaranteed VVD can do that, who is a CB but he’s not exactly a Phil Jones type of blockhead clear it into row Z type...man got a bit of magic at times. Mane would be naughty in a 5 a side team...he’s feisty pacey and skilful Ederson(self explanatory) VVD De Bruyne(loves a tackle and we kno the rest) Mane Rashford(skills, pace, clinical, stamina)
What would your own teams be? McCarthy Bertrand Armstrong Redmond Ings Comfortable 16th that I reckon.
Yup...can’t trust Lloris to save the low drives to the corners Kane had a little cameo in goal for us in a UEFA cup tie bowt 7 years ago...was decent...defo good with his feet...something else Lloris is not very good at
Everyone going ederson or Allison, but really all you need for a 5 a side keeper is a good shot stopper who’s used to facing a lot of shots. Schmeichal, fabianski, Leno, Dubravka etc...
Leno Ceballos Ozil Pepe Auba Laca and Luiz have got rocket feet though so would make the subs of my 5 a side team. Martinelli/Saka not bad shouts either due to skills, energy and ability to hold the ball under pressure... maybe one of these two to replace Pepe.
There are keepers who face a lot more shots with better save % afaik. Which is what you need for 5 a side. It’s not like 11 a side playing for one of the best teams who dominate possession and a keeper needs great concentration, quick off his line, good distribution etc.
