5-3-2 Better at protecting the space with a 5-3-2 but sit far deeper.
4-4-2 Allows the midfield to push forward and support the attacks but leave gaps and space.

What formation would you play for the next games against Bournemouth and Newcastle?

Bmouth ripped our 5-3-2 (or 5-2-3) to shreds three years ago, with their pace and width. Doubling on our fullbacks all the time. I don't even think we waited until HT until we ditched it.

Bmouth still play with that pace and width these days, only with better players in their team. Whilst three years on, we have worse players in their team.

I do quite want to see Bednarek being given a run in the team (I thought he did alright today, constantly heading things away - doing the job that I had thought Vestergaard had been signed to do). But I'd be concerned about giving him such a chance against that pacey Bmouth side.

We just don't retain the ball enough with 5-3-2. More possession should equate to more goalscoring chances so it's four at the back for me with two up front (preferably Gabbi and Danny, but Shane would be ok too), therefore 4-4-2
