I've no idea who was in charge of the team but, given how bad the results have been four our U23s this season, maybe there's a case for him taking on the role.

We had Lynch, Burge, Tommy Smith, Lafferty, Ethan Robson, Scowen,Kimpioka, Declan John, Semenyo and Grigg all playing against a league 2 side.

I dont think whoever was in charge needed to be a tactical genius to beat them with that team to be honest.

Decent team that, shows our strength in depth, take Grigg out <laugh> add Mumba, Embleton and Taylor and its looks even better.
NB. read somewhere that Watmore played a part in the game also, the run out for the players who don't get much game time is as important as the result here.

All good stuff, shows the management are thinking the job through and putting the hours in ...

... Parkinson has probably already spent more time at the AOL/SOL than Keane, Moyes and MON put together.

Something is wrong, meaningless platitudes from the hierarchy as game after game is lost does not wash well..

I am still expecting Grigg to score the goal that gives us promotion. Personally dont think he should get another chance but a lot of people thought that about Parky.

He's got to be in very good shape fitness wise now so there might be some use for him still. Parky is sending a clear message to him that despite the transfer fee he's got no intention of putting him in the squad if he doesn't respect his work behind the scenes but maybe he's getting close to being in contention.

Could be a very useful wildcard to unleash a fit and hungry Grigg at the right time. Wyke has had the odd good game but he's not a goalscorer, unfortunately.

Kimpioka won't sign a new contract because he's off to New York Red Bulls in the summer.
I got this off somebody within SAFC tonight.
