Can't argue if he does really"The Black Cats beat the Blues 5-2 at the Academy of Light, thanks to goals from Kyle Lafferty , Antoine Semenyo , Josh Scowen , Will Grigg , and Benji Kimpioka ."
Might give Parky something to think about...for about three seconds before he picks the same team again.
I've no idea who was in charge of the team but, given how bad the results have been four our U23s this season, maybe there's a case for him taking on the role.
We had Lynch, Burge, Tommy Smith, Lafferty, Ethan Robson, Scowen,Kimpioka, Declan John, Semenyo and Grigg all playing against a league 2 side.
I dont think whoever was in charge needed to be a genius to beat them with that team to be honest.
add Mumba, Embleton and Taylor and its looks even better.I've no idea who was in charge of the team but, given how bad the results have been four our U23s this season, maybe there's a case for him taking on the role.
Something is wrong, meaningless platitudes from the hierarchy as game after game is lost does not wash well..
I'm concerned but, tbh, I can't remember many statements regarding the U23's over the years.
I am still expecting Grigg to score the goal that gives us promotion. Personally dont think he should get another chance but a lot of people thought that about Parky.
