And there's something raw and spine-tingling about those packed terraces, that just cannot be emulated by banks of seating, and many corporate tickets

A bit of history:-

"Though not officially opened by King George V until 23 April 1924, the stadium hosted its first FA Cup final the previous year, when an estimated 200,000 people crammed in to watch Bolton Wanderers FC defeat West Ham United FC 2-0. That match famously became known as the 'White Horse final', as a mounted policeman took to the pitch to keep fans at bay"

I bought the game on DVD years ago. My son who was about 4 or 5 at the time couldn't believe it was in black and white!!! He is 19 now and a committed Rs fan and we will both be there today. U Rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrs!!!

Thanks sooper, i was a 12 year old on my 1st trrip to Wembley, appart from the birth of my kids it was the best day of my life, my old fella and me walked from Loftus road to Wembley that day, he lives in Hampshire now and is a sprightly 86 years old, i took the dvd of the game with me and we watched it together, bloody emotional it was.

There as a 5 3/4 year old with my parents.....still have the programme although it is a little worse for age.......think we went by coach from the ground to Wembley passing the walkers, remember my late father crying with joy at the end.......

I'm sure that you know already, but there are places you can send your old VHS cassettes to and have 'em put onto DVD should you wish.
