how hunnish (german) to wave a british flag?

also Scotland will never be independent.

nice thread though

You must have missed the massive union jack Hamburg produced when we played them over there

As an outsider - Do Rangers not have a saltire on their home strip still?
Never seen a saltire waved at celtic park, plenty of Irish tri-colours though - celtic got lots of american fans (they all want to have irish family tree!)

Wouldn't rangers fans be as well using the money spent on union jacks to pay a few of the clubs debts?

All the fake nationalism is part of the "problem". Most Rangers fans are Scottish first, most Sellik fans are Scottish first.

The British/Irish things gets dusted down on a Saturday by the ordinary punter to add to the tribalism, granted there are a few "über" fans who take the football and life in general far too seriously and give both sets of fans a bad reputation.

But Rangers are definitely more Scottish than the Tims

You say that like it's a good thing.

that's like saying a million pounds is nothing but paper. It's what that "piece of cloth" represents that counts.

<laugh>

And the point goes zooming over Trev's head. <doh>

A million pounds is nothing but paper. The entire point is that it's what each individual places the worth of that million pounds. A multi-Billionaire like Craig Whyte would have a different attitude to £1 million from me or you. <ok>

A flag is no different; it's the respect that the individual or society places in it, not the actual flag itself.

Keep up <ok>
