Last night's appearance from off the bench was Peter Crouch's 400th Premier league appearance. A milestone for him. Although his game time is limited these days he's turned out to be a very good signing for Stoke (despite the fee we paid for him and W(aste of space) Palacios). A true professional who has had an excellent career at the highest level.
He's done a good job for us especially in the early days and who will forget that wonder goal, good show sir.
Yup that one agin Man City with Hart in mid air will live long in the memory - as have many of Jimmy Greehoff's 'specials'
He has been a fantastic servant for you and always a pain in the neck for us - in more ways than one!
I have seen the greats from Sir Stan & Tom Finney through Pele, Maradonna & etc ...but Jimmy Greenhoff was and still is my No1. And I guess Ivor Allchurch is yours Taff? Terry Paine for you Lambo ?
Yep Ivor was my favourite. I remember getting his autograph on the beach at Caswell when I was around 8 or 9!
