Read some of the interview reports (all the same) and it sounds like Ki has been promised all the game time he wants. As long as that is deserved there's no problem but will he throw his toys out again if he isn't considered first choice for any reason? His comments about Laudrup were unnecessary, not because I 'love' Laudrup, I just don't think it is professional for players to be making comments about their colleagues, manager and club to the press. I suspect he'd say the same about Monk if he spent any time on the bench. He also gives the impression that he would prefer to be in Sunderland (if only they had made an offer!) I wasn't impressed (understatement) with him in his first year with us and he wasn't as great as has been made out at Sunderland but if he plays like he did v ManU and the first half V Burnley I'll have no complaints.
