A fantastic 3-0 win. As good as Humphreys has been it was good to have Evans back today. He controlled the midfield very well and it's clear we missed him over the last few weeks. I thought Burns and Ladapo had good games and Davis made a lot of effective running down the left. Chaplin was good and Aluko magical to watch at times. Defence was solid, Walton was solid, an all round good team performance today. Another win towards what we hope will end in promotion.
An impressive win and performance against a side that has rarely lost over the last couple of months. I thought we had a shaky first 20 minutes, most notably through misplaced passes, sluggish play, and some close Oxford chances. It was great that we then went up a gear or two and comfortably saw the game out. Well taken goals and controlled the game. There were many good performers out there today, but I still wonder how we’ve managed to keep hold of a player like Morsy. Bossed the game again, set the tempo, and rarely wastes a pass. What a captain and what a player.
Very down Oxford fans, one came with his daughter. "You could see the gradual disintegration of the the team and their desire / confidence / effort as the game drifted on. Once the first goal went in I was 100% convinced we may as well go home, you could feel it all over" I am glad not to be in his shoes!
Great result, great crowd, after a slow start Town went on to dominate this game and outclassed Oxford in every department, and although i dont rate Ladapo very highly i thought his all round game was excellent, ok he had a tap in for his goal but he did so much more than that, maybe McKs coaching getting through to him at last ? It was good to see our long term injuries coming back and it showed what weve been missing for so long, Evans and Harness working hard and Aluko putting through a dream of a ball for Chaplin to score the third goal, it was a must win game for me and we did easily.
Next up Pompey with a sickness bug in the camp. Never fancy our chances against them, so every little helps.

Pompey down the road from me, wish I was going, always a great atmosphere at Fratton Pk. Sadly not quite fit enough yet. Another good performance, a few scares, but come away 2-1 winners. 6 pts from 2. Sttetchy's pessimism works wonders!
