Nass, I think the leading protagonists will yes. Should the likes of Sizing Europe, Flemingstar and Sanctuaire turn up then I don’t think connections will simply be looking for a runners-up berth. Given each horses illustrious past and the logic about never being afraid of one horse I would expect each to go out for a win. If they go elsewhere (which is also a possibility re the first 2 opponents mentioned) then that makes it easier for old boy Kumbeshwar.

Quevega was opposed largely by novices, exposed performers and handicappers. Sprinter Sacre is likely to face horses with Grade 1 victories to their name.

I cannot see the likes of Sanctuaire trying the same forcing tactics again, they surely will have to sit on Sprinter Sacre and hope he makes mistakes. Therefore they will cover the race rather than blowing it open ala Tingle Creek.

If Flemenstar does go against Sprinter he'll be the classiest horse he's run against. Do I think Flemenstar can beat Sprinter over 2 miles? No. Is he a stone better than what he's raced against so far? Yes. He most likely is. Although I don't think any horse in training can actually challenge Sprinter Sacre I do think Flemenstar will offer him the sternest test yet. I certainly wouldn't worry about him emptying in the final furlong of a two mile race against any horse in training and would appear to be locked in for second.

Well Real Milan won but he didn't do so in the manner of a 1/2 shot. My selection didn't stay the trip by the look of it, and is one to follow when handicapping.

Good money for HOLLO LADIES by the looks of things.

BALLYBEN goes in the bumper and is a very decent sort. May well be able to shoulder a penalty.

Ref BOUGGLER Barney. Thats pretty much what I posted on here before his return. Not that I know the owner or anything! !!!

Shocker of a day today, well done anyone with winners.

In the bumper at Ayr, this Dibdabs has been backed from 20/1 this morning right in to 3/1 now (even touched 5/2 in places)

Crawford's runner Fine Rightly now at 14s which has tempted me into an e/w dabble
